1.INTRODUCTION

This Documentation is used for WPML add-on for LearnPress and LearnPress – Best LMS WordPress Plugin.

With the WPML you can translate pages, posts, custom types, taxonomy, menus, and even the theme’s texts.

In this LearnPress WPML update, we integrate LearnPress and WPML so that you can translate all pages of LearnPress like course archive, single course, profile, etc.

2.DOWNLOAD

This Documentation is used for WPML add-on for LearnPress and LearnPress – Best LMS WordPress Plugin.

After downloading the WPML Add-on for LearnPress, you will click “Sign In” and select “My Account” on thimpress.com.
Click ‘Orders‘ and ‘View‘ to view your order.

Under ‘Order Details‘, download the latest version of the plugin.

3.INSTALL AND ACTIVATE

First, you need to install and activate The WordPress Multilingual Plugin. You can download here: https://wpml.org/.

Next, visit ‘WordPress Dashboard > Plugins > Add New‘.
Click ‘Upload Plugin‘ and choose the .zip file you have downloaded. Click ‘Install Now‘ to start the installation process.

After installing the plugin, click “Activate Plugin” and you’ll receive the notice about the plugin being successfully activated.

4.Translate content on page and course

4.1.Translate content on page

The translation language of the page has already been set in the WPML installation step, so I will show you how to create a page with the language you installed earlier.

Please go to Dashboard => LearnPress => Settings => General.

Here, the site is showing the default language, so you need to switch back to the language you want to translate.

After changing the language, your site will display empty pages (the pages that the boxes show ‘Select a page’). You can choose ‘Create new’ to make a new page or ‘Edit page’ to edit the current page.

After creating a page, you can click ‘View page’ to check it.
Here is an example of the new page ‘Profile’.

4.2.Translate content in course

There are 2 ways you can translate content to another language in the course.

First way: Please go to Dashboard => LearnPress => Courses => Click to “Add translation to Japanese”.

Second way: Please go to Dashboard => LearnPress => Courses => Edit course => Click to Add translation to Japanese.

In the two above ways, the site will both open the translating tab.

When the process is 100% complete, you need to click “Complete” to finish and review.

After selecting “Complete”, the site will return to the Course page. In the Backend, you can click “View” to view the course you have just translated.

Here, you can see that the course has already been displayed in another language.
Note: Course items will automatically be copied, edited title, and assigned to the course. You can fix each item normally without any problem.

If you have some minor changes in the course default language, you can edit it as usual, and click here to synchronize with the previously translated version.

4.2.1.Translate item content in course: Lesson

For course items, you also translate the same as the course translation.

Please go to Dashboard => LearnPress => Lessons => Click to “Add translation to Japanese”.

The site will open the translating tab.

When the process is 100% complete, you need to click “Save & Close” to finish and review.

After selecting “Save & Close”, the site will return to the Lessons page. In the Backend, you can see the lesson you have just translated.

4.2.2.Translate item content in course: Quiz

This Documentation is used for WPML add-on for LearnPress and LearnPress – Best LMS WordPress Plugin.

For course items, you also translate the same as the course translation.

Please go to Dashboard => LearnPress => Quizzes=> Click to “Add translation to Japanese”.

The site will open the translating tab.

When the process is 100% complete, you need to click “Completed” to finish and review.

After selecting “Completed”, the site will return to the Quizzes page. In the Backend, you can see the lesson you have just translated.
