1.Download

  • After purchasing the Commission Addon for LearnPress, “Sign In” and select “My Account”  on thimpress.com
  • Click ‘Orders’ and ‘View’ your order
  • Under ‘Order Details’, download the latest version of the plugin

2.Install and activate

  • Visit ‘WordPress Dashboard > Plugins > Add New’
  • To install the Commission plugin, you can click the “Upload Plugin” button -> Choose .zip file that you have downloaded -> then click “Install Now”
  •  After the installation is complete, click “Activate Plugin”

The plugin is now activated and ready-to-use

3.Settings

  • Visit “LearnPress” -> choose “Settings” -> select the “Commission” tab.
  • Go to the ‘Settings’ section and check “Enable commission feature”
  • Commission percent: This is the percentage of commission earned by a teacher when a teacher-authored course is sold. Of course, commission does not apply to admin.
  • Min ($): This is the minimum amount allowed for customer withdrawal.

In the ‘Managing’ section, you can set different commission percentages and activate/inactivate the commission feature for any course.

In the “Withdrawal Paypal” section, check “Enable” to allow withdrawal via PayPal. Don’t forget to provide the “Client ID” and the “Secret Key”.

Users will see their commission under the ‘Withdrawals’ tab now in their profile, and they can withdraw via Paypal.

4.FOR INSTRUCTOR WITHDRAWAL

Instructors can view their commissions on the Profile page.

At the bottom are the withdrawal history and withdrawal form. Currently, we only set up withdrawals with Paypal accounts.

How to withdraw:

  • First, Enter your password: password is the password of the site login account.
  • Paypal email account: you need to enter your PayPal email account.
  • Amount($): this is the amount you want to withdraw. If the amount is less than the specified amount, the following message will be displayed:

Request all: If you want to withdraw all the money in your account, you can select this button, then select Submit.

After that, wait for the admin to approve your request.

Here you notice the Status column, Completed is your request has been processed, go check your Paypal account; Reject is a request that has been denied, you can re-do it or contact the admin directly.

5.How admin handles withdrawal requests

  • Visit “LearnPress” -> choose “Withdrawals”

Click on any title

Enter the username and password of the admin account, then click the “Pay on” button

After clicking the “Pay On” button, the withdrawal actions go to “Complete”

Don’t forget to press the “Update” button to finish

In addition to the font-end: the instructor’s Withdrawal History status has also changed to “Complete”.
