Announcement Add-on for Learnpress

• After downloading the Announcement Addon for LearnPress, “Sign In” and select “My Account” on  thimpress.com
• Click ‘Orders‘ and ‘View‘ your order

• Under ‘Order Details‘, download the latest version of the plugin

After you have downloaded the add-on. You need to install it.

Visit your WordPress dashboard => Plugins => Add New, click “Upload Plugin”, then choose the downloaded file from where you saved it.

Your file after chosen is like the below picture, then click the button “Install Now”

After the plugin was installed successfully, you need to activate it.

That’s all you need to install this add-on. You can check if the add-on is activated by accessing the “Installed Plugins” section, in the “Active” tab. All your active plugins are there.

• Visit ‘LearnPress > Courses’
• Select the course you want to publish an “Announcement” for by clicking “Edit”.

• Scroll down to that “Course Settings” and select the “Announcements” tab.
• Set up your announcement and click on the “Post” button. You can find that announcement in the “Announcements” tab.
• You can also create a course announcement for multiple courses at the same time.

•  You can write your announcement title and enter the content of the announcement. 
• Send email to students who were enrolled when creating a new announcement.
• Display the comments on the new announcement post.
• Allow the users who are enrolled to comment on all announcements.

• You can customize your announcement email by going to LearnPress -> Settings -> Emails -> Announcements.

Depending on each theme, you will see the announcement tab or announcement section in different places. It’s where all the course announcements are displayed. Your students can also reply to the announcement.
